Mizuno's Angst
Mizuno was an independent woman who always wanted to start her own women's magazine. She had raised money for years and had just a little bit to go before she could start it. "This calls for a celebration," she said to herself.
She went to Parabellum. It was a reasonably priced bar in Aoba. She ordered a magnum and started to drink. "Hi," a young man said. He was probably about twenty and had blonde hair. He was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.
"Hello," Mizuno said cheerily.
"Whatcha doing here alone," he asked.
"Oh, I'm celebrating raising money to start my own magazine," Mizuno replied. That wasn't really answering the alone part.
The man smiled. "Mind if I drink with you?" he said.
"Not at all. Oh by the way I haven't even introduced myself," Mizuno said and told him her name.
"I'm Makimura," the man said. The two began to make small talk. Then Makimura asked her to meet him again.
"Certainly. We'll meet here tomorrow at seven," she said. Mizuno left the bar. This was the greatest day of her life. She was just a step away from starting the magazine and she had met a Makimura. She wasn't really the type to get so gushy over a guy she just met but there was something about him that was appealing. He was charming and for some reason, she knew he was the type of guy he could trust.
Author's notes: I haven't played Innocent Sin so I don't know if this pairing actually occurred or not. But a comment that Minuno made to Maya made me think of this story.
