Simon Petrikov was a man who had a brilliant mind he put on a crown and begun to transform, then a seperate story occurs. Mark is a 14 year old Russian Army pilot. He one day finds out North Korea and Russia formed an army to attack the US. He flees while having his best friend, Omar get shot on scene. Mark flees into the woods. Meanwhile, Simon starts to record his transformation for others to see his story. Simon one day, almost fully transformed climbs up a hill and sees North Korean and Russian War Planes. A war is taking place. Mark is now in the US by sneaking on a cargo plane, he runs towards a US Military Base, he steals a war plane and heads towards San Francisco, California. As the US troops are fighting of the Koreans and Russians they see a bomb come out from a cargo plane, it fall on the land while Simon and Mark both see the bomb fall and detonate. A massive explosions sweeps both of them away. A few minutes after the massive explosion, Mark, while injured and tired, looks for survivors, he only sees Simon so he rushes to him and helps him up, they both introduce each other, they are the last humans left or so it seems. Over he course of 1,000 years the Earth has new life, strange and magical creatures, Simon Petrikov becomes the Ice King while Mark is nowhere to be found but he is actually in a deep dark cave as a young looking man, he actually is a mystical warrior while still having haunting memories of the Great Mushroom War.
