The Absolute Man: Madonna on The Rocks: (situation) someone is telling a tale to little children

~oOoOoOo~

"Settle down, children, and I will tell you the tale of all tales!" projected Luna, her magical voice spreading throughout the valley of land they called home.

The small children, with their glittering wings, and bright smiles were soon settled on various mushrooms, lily-pads, and lush grass - eager to hear her tales of how the Fairies won the infamous war.

"In a magical land, not to far from here, was a small Wizard. He was but a boy, destined by the Gods and Goddesses, to bring forth peace. When he was still a babe, he valiantly, if unknowingly, brought down the 'Dark Lord,'" spoke Luna in hr sing-song voice.

She continued telling about the Great Harry Potter, and how he fought Voldemort year, after year, after year. She told them how she was hand-picked by the fairy King himself to be sent into the world to help guide the young boy.

Luna regaled on how she fought side by side with him in the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic; of how she helped the students when he was destroying his Horcruxes.

All of the children oohed and ahhed in all the correct places, with none of them interrupting sweet Luna, all waiting patiently until the end.

When she was done, and the figurative Dark Lord was vanquished once again in her story telling, her Prince came up to her.

"Your prowess with words hasn't changed, my sweet,' muttered Draco, the Fairy Prince.

"Aye, but so could you if you had dropped your icy facade during that time," he replied.

Draco had been sent in first, trying to aide the young boy in his acts of heroism, but had befriended the Weasley child instead. When his mission failed, his father, Lucius the King, had decided to keep the Prince there so he would see first hand what evil could bring to the land.

But, as the muggles said, their plan had 'went to hell.'

Without giving the Princess with a reply, he graciously swept her hand in his and led her back to the castle.
