This is just a small one shot, hope y'all enjoy.
England sits in his front yard at mid-day drinking his tea slowly reading the paper when he hears small feet running up the path. He looks up to see a small girl with long flowing black hair tied back in a blue bow running towards him, "Hello, Alaska."
She gives him a big hero's smile, "Hi England. Daddy wanted me to give you this." She hands him a small card he takes it and reads, "What's it say?"
He pats her head, "It says that you're going to stay with me for the day but…where is that brother of yours?" He looks past her at a tall young man with blonde hair and his emerald eyes slowly walking up the path, "Never mind. Hello South Carolina."
South Carolina gives him a half-hearted smile before sitting down next to England, "Sorry, England but for some reason my Dad decided he wanted us to spend some time with you." He takes a scone of a plate and takes a bite, "Sometimes I don't understand him at all."
"Yeah your father can be odd sometimes." Alaska sits in the Nation's lap, "So Princess what do you want to do today?"
She thinks for a moment, "Can we have a picnic?"
"Sure."
The sun is getting low in the sky as America walks across the meadow towards the threesome sitting on the riverbank watching the sun set. Alaska spots him and runs towards him with open arms, "There's my little heroine. Did you have fun today?" She nods as he hugs her. "Good." He turns to England, "I nearly forgot something this morning."
England raises an eyebrow, "Oh and what's that?"
The younger state pulls out a card, "Happy Father's Day." He picks up Alaska, "I hoped you liked your gift."
England looks down at the card then at the young state and smiles, "So where you in on this too?" Alaska lets out a giggle as Charlie walks up to them, "You too?"
South Caroline lets out his father's laugh, "Yeah but that's not all." He takes out a card himself and hands it to his father, "Happy Father's Day, Dad."
The small girl hugs her father's neck, "Do you like it Daddy?"
Both fathers smile, "Yeah I do, Honey. Now if we ask nicely maybe your England will tell us a story or two." He hands his beloved daughter over to England.
"I would love too."
