CHAPTER ONE: THE INVITATIONS
Yugi Muto was sitting at home, talking on the phone. "Good thing school's
out, huh, Joey?" he asked. Joey Wheeler, on the other end, replied, "Yeah.
Relaxing all summer and.wait. I'll call back." Yugi heard the doorbell
and went to answer it. "Are you Yugi Muto?" a hooded figure asked as he
handed Yugi an invitation. Yugi left with a mere "Thanks" and went to see
what it was about.
"Darn fool, making me hang up on Yugi!" Joey screamed. He opened the door and found a small envelope that read Joey Wheeler.
Mai Valentine was going through her mail. "Let's see here," she said. "Bill, bill, bill, bill, bill, oh, what's this?" It was a small envelope.
Weevil Underwood was doing something stupid (hey, what did you expect?): Poking at a beehive. A letter fell out of the beehive. As Weevil picked it up, he noticed the words Weevil Underwood on it. As he walked away, he threw the stick at the beehive - and knocked it down.
"No!" Rex Raptor cried. His Life Points dropped to 0. His opponent, a robed figure, threw him an envelope.
Arthur Hawkins was very surprised. Instead of yolk in one of the eggs, there was a letter for his granddaughter, Rebecca.
"Great movie, huh?" Jennifer Stark asked the spirit of her Millennium Scale, Ja'har'an. She was interrupted, however, as a letter hit her in the head.
