When Penny Met Sheldon…

"The first time we met each other, we hated each other," Penny said, looking over to the tall reed thin man next to her.

"No we didn't, I hated you," Sheldon murmured. "I should know, as I have an eidetic memory."

Penny nodded to this, as there was no arguing about the truth—especially with Sheldon.

"And the next time we met, you didn't even remember me," Sheldon said with a sigh, thinking over just how drunk she had been at the time.

"I did too remember you!" Penny protested. "After a couple of coffees and some pain reliever."

"But the next time we met, we became friends," Sheldon went on, smiling over to the blond next to him who was now grinning as well. "We were friends for a very long time."

"And then we weren't," Penny sighed, remembering her mistake of dating Leonard. But then she sighed sweetly, "And then we fell in love." She looked over to the interviewer. "We had a very nice wedding. We had this big, multilevel cheesecake that looked like a BBQ bacon cheese burger with the BBQ sauce, bacon, and cheese on the side." She grinned at her blushing husband. "Because you know not everyone likes their BBQ sauce on the burger…"

"It makes the bun soggy," Sheldon explained. "And they never put the three ingredients on the burger in the correct order…"

"Sweetie," Penny interrupted him. "It was a cake. So it wasn't as if it were a real hamburger. It was all just cake, cheese cake filling, frosting, fondant and raspberry sauce."

"I know," he muttered. "But it would have been a clear misrepresentation if we had allowed it to be made any sort of way! That's just chaos, Penny!"

"You're a whackadoodle," she told him, smiling at him indulgently.

"That's Dr. Whackadoodle," he said, smiling right back.

She slipped her hand over his, squeezing it lightly. "My Whackadoodle."

"And don't you forget it," he told her, leaning down and kissing her forehead. "Love you, kitten."

"Love you back, my crazy man," she replied in a teasing voice.

"How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not crazy. My mother had me tested."

The End!

Wow! That hopefully was recognizable as the end scene from When Harry Met Sally… I love that movie and that scene at the very end seemed perfect for this challenge. Thanks for coming along for the ride. Review to let me know how you liked it. The feedback is most welcomed. Take care and I hope that you all are having a splendid day.
