1. Introduction

First, there's Marin Stelz, the young golden-eyed boy of District One; and Amethyst Diabla, the curly-haired Career, his District partner.

Then there's Athena Argos, the very feline red-headed District Two tribute, and Tallis Drake, the wiry perfectionist of District Three.

Sheldon Mayer comes next; the District Four boy with the body of a swimmer and the legs of a long-distance runner; a formidable combination.

Tallulah Gray is the quiet, determined girl of District Five; while Falline Tamori of District Six hopes that her cleverness will get her through the Games...alive.

Alexa Deline is the determined female tribute for District Eight, the one who hopes her imagination and creativity will come in handy.

District Ten has never been known for its tributes. Ansel Junning is the sixteen-year-old tribute hoping to change that.

Finally; District Eleven's female tribute, Madison Cambridge. She's sneaky and quiet, but she has one terrible weakness...blindness.
