Me and Me Alone
A Destiel Inspired Poem
(Dean's POV)
Warm wings embrace me,
prevent me from shattering,
as I fall down this black hole.
Came to me and now I see,
touched my head and gave me dreams,
gave me back my lost soul.
Stop dancing in the dark,
so much better than deception.
Stop crying in the parking lot,
he's only here for me and me alone.
He's in speed dial in my head,
wasted days alone I spent,
fluttering and words of naive love.
Laid me to rest in my own bed,
took past nightmares away,
here in my arms my own little dove.
Stop dancing in the dark,
so much better than deception.
Stop crying in the parking lot,
he's only here for me and me alone.
Takes me anywhere anytime,
fell to earth to protect me and disobeyed,
his superiors for one little thing, me...
He knows I'm his and he is mine,
stubborn enough but him I obeyed,
can't describe what I feel inside of, me...
Stop dancing in the dark,
so much better than deception.
Stop crying in the parking lot,
he's only here for me and me alone.
We go driving and flying through the night,
can't say how much I miss your blue eyes.
There's no purpose in life now no living,
after his sacrifice.
Now I hold in my hand his feather,
makes me scream and cry every time.
There's a reason I can't live without him,
was so lost in his angel eyes.
