I woke up that morning and done the same as usual. Brush my teeth, get dressed, eat a hardy mom-made breakfast of scrambled Pidgey eggs and head off to training school. That's the first time I saw her. Well not really saw her, but more like heard a rustling in the bushes and saw a blue object move out of sight.
I continued to walk to school and tried to forget about the blue thing.
Jesus, Evelynn training protocol school calls for an instant slaughter of any Pokemon. Why didn't you grab your knife?
I looked down at the dagger I was issued at the beginning of training school. Well if I don't what kind it is how could I of successfully killed it. I'm the only one in my class who hasn't successfully killed a pokemon outside of school training programs.
I was an embarrassment to the school.
As I was thinking all this through I wasn't following another training protocol. Be aware of your surroundings.
They came at me all at once, I was forced down on the hard dirt road as they tackled me to the ground.
Okay. I thought now assess your attackers. Two Raticate, three Bellsprouts, an Eevee (Surprising because Eevees were the first to be massed slaughter), and then one of the biggest terrors came into view.
A Glaceon.
O god I'm going to die.
The Eevee began to – oh what's it called again – Shadow Ball. To my surprise the Glaceon gave it a look of disapproval and the evil ball melted away from the Eevee! The Glaceon stepped on my chest and looked me straight into the eye. I wondered if it would be the last thing I ever saw.
It turned and nodded to the Bellsprout and I felt some kind of rope like thing wrap around my wrist and ankles.
Vine whip, great now I'm for sure going to die.
Again the Glaceon just stared at me. Such sad eyes, what could be behind such eyes?
"A - are you going to kill me?" It gave nothing away then pressed a paw to my throat.
So this is it, goodbye mom and dad. At least I won't have to be forced to kill such creatures anymore.
The Ice type clearly had a surprised look upon its face. I wasn't sure why, but it nodded again at the Bellsprout.
I was released. All but the Glaceon scurried into the bushes and tall grass. The blue furred creature shuddered for a moment and snow fell into perfect letters.
We will be watching.
It turned its tail and ran and I shakingly got up and kept going to school.
