Matthew looked solemnly at the vast world as he sat on the ground with his knees on his face. He was sitting on a cliff and he was all alone. His camp mates had forgotten him and left to explore their campgrounds and forgetting about him.
Honestly, he didn't know why he came here so happily and end up sitting on a cliff with knees on his head and feeling sad. He could remember being so happy when his brother invited him to join him and his friends here. He thought it was a great idea for brotherly bonding but oh no.
Flashback
"Hey Mattie, do you want to come with me and my friends to the camping grounds. Please, for me, " Alfred pleaded as he walked towards Mattie with big blue eyes. Matthew couldn't resist his little brother, (his brother begs to differ) so he nodded and started packing with a smile on his face, humming his favorite songs.
Flashback End
Matthew felt his stomach grumble and he sighed, everyone forgot to leave him food today and yesterday so he searched for food. He wasn't good at scavenging for food in places he doesn't know. He found nothing unfortunately, apparently they got all the food and he was left with stinging claw marks that he had to patch up by himself. He was hungry, he was suffering, he was lonely.
Lonely and Heartbroken. The words he felt right now. He is so stupid, of course no one would love him. Even him.
Flashback
Matthew cried as students laughed at him and threw him stuff. Ballpens, notebooks, tomatoes. They were calling him names and saying that he should go to hell.
Why, you may ask? Well, his so called crush humiliated him and abused him as students watched. No one felt sorry for him, even his brother. They all watched with amusement as he was suffering.
Flashback on a Flashback
"Hey, Gil, " said Matthew timidly as he approached his crush and best friend. Gilbert turned and looked at him, his grin as contagious as ever, "Yes, birdie?" Matthew smiled and said, "Well I was wondering if you could go out with me?" Gilbert looked at him weirdly and said, "Eww you're gay!?" he exclaimed and everyone looked at him. "Everyone, Matthew here is gay!" Gilbert shouted and everyone started laughing.
Flashback ends on a Flashback
That is how Matthew, was tortured and abused by everyone until the bell rang and everybody left, kicking him in any chance they get. Matthew coughed up bloodand stayed there until everyone left. No one will ever love him.
Flashback Ends
Matthew cried and cried as he reminisced the past. His life has been nothing but torture and suffering. He hates his life. He wishes it was gone.
He looks down the cliff and he thought, "I don't want to live anymore, no one cares for me, even myself. I should die. No one loves me, everyone hates me." He took one last look at the forest clearing before jumping.
