a.n. I love writing poems and I actually have the first half of this poem on my Myspace. I thought it'd make a nice poem, so I added some more to it. Let me know what you think.
A Light In the Darkness
Like the moon shining through the trees,
Like a candle in the night,
When you are in darkness,
I will be your light.
Follow my lead,
Follow me true,
Never will I lead you wrong,
For you'll have my love to guide you.
Whenever you are in doubt,
Whenever you are in fear,
Just remember me, my love,
For I'll always be there.
Though dark times may be ahead,
Face them together we will, as one
Strength we'll find in each other
Never will we back down, never will we run.
The path we lead may be hard
The journey we take may be far,
But love will show us the way
For love can ignite the stars.
