The End
It was starting to become dark outside as the sun had set. Harry sat on a rock inside the cave that he called home for three months. His body lay motionless, only his hair blew in the gentle breeze that occasionally crept into the cave.
He had a great task ahead of him, no other wizard could truly feel the way he did. Time was all that stood in the way before his final battle. All Harry could think about was Ron and Hermione.
Harry thought about how Ron must of felt when the death eaters burnt his family's house down with his parents, Ginny, Fred, and George all inside. He couldn't blame Ron for running towards Voldemort with revenge in his eyes. It didn't take long for Voldemort to finish Ron off, using all three unforgivable curses on him. Voldemort couldn't have been happier at that moment, knowing the impact this would have on Harry.
Tears refused to fall as Harry's eyes starred down at the hard cave floor. As broken as he felt, he knew this was no time to cry. Hopefully soon, there would be time for that.
And then he thought of Hermione. Her smile and curly hair was all that he could bare to think of. To have his two close friends die not a week apart pulled on his heart strings. Harry killed seven death eaters the day after he heard of Hermione's demise. He knew he wasn't fighting for a better life for himself, he was fighting for everyone else, because his life had been taken away.
Harry couldn't help thinking about Hagrid, the first member of the magical world he had meet, the last of his family to be murdered.
Sorrow had no place in Harry's heart right now. He had to focus on the task at hand, his battle with Voldemort. Rising from the rock, he starred out into the darkness before him. He was ready. He couldn't feel more ready. With nothing to lose but everyone else's future, he grabbed his broom, glanced back at the tunneling cave and flew off.
Harry did defeat Voldemort that night, but Voldemort had taken his soul long before the battle started. Harry fought and killed every death eater he could find that night after he destroyed Voldemort. With the last bit of strength he had he pointed his wand at himself and performed his last curse.
