A quite homecoming

Percy Weasley was accustomed to coming home from work and finding his daughters playing in the living room, but he never expected to see something like that. The two little girls, one four years old and the other six, were opposite one another with wands in their hands as if they were duelling. Careful not to be seen by them, he remained in the lobby, watching the scene with a mixture of amusement and concern.

"Avada Kedava!" Molly screamed, pointing a fake wand bought in the joke shop of Uncle George, against the younger sister. Lucy, however, didn't fall, crossing his arms and putting a sulk on her face.

"Hey... why don't you die?" Molly Jr asked.

"Because I'm sick of it! Why must I always be Bellatix? " Lucy replied to her sister.

"Who of the two is called Molly?" Asked Molly Jr, with a proud air.

"It's not right! Also, I want to be Molly," Lucy complained.

"Alright, then later, you can play with the wool, and you can make me a nice sweater!" said the older sister, with an amused grin on her face. It was clear that she was making such a fools of her younger sister.

"Really? And it's funny?"Lucy asked, brightening.

"Oh... Yeah, it's a hoot. But now you die... OK?"

"All right," Lucy answered, with an air of being already defeated.

"Avada Kedava," Molly screamed again, and this time, the child fell to the ground, closing her eyes.

"It's all the day that Molly is doing so. Poor Lucy!" said a female voice. Percy smiled at his wife, who appeared at his side.

"But how did Molly know about Bellatrix?" Percy asked to her since neither of the two had told her that story jet.

"It's been Ron this morning." Percy shook his head vexed. When will Ron learn to keep his mouth shut? Teaching an unforgivable curse to a child so little then was inexcusable! Ah, but he would have done it to him to pay sooner or later.

"Oh, don't take it with your brother," Audrey said, interpreting perfectly what her husband was thinking. "You should have seen how happy she was when she found out! And as you can see she fails even pronounce the curse correctly."

"So today you went to find Ron?"

"Yes poor thing, if you knew how happy he was to finally be able to secede a little from Hermione and stay with his nieces." Already poor Ron! Percy thought. After all, a pregnant Hermione at the last month of pregnancy was a punishment more than enough for the brother.

"That woman is making him crazy!" She added.

"Oh, you will not disbelieve; even you made me crazy during your pregnancy," He said, looking at her, and he saw him. Audrey had the same sulk that Percy had seen make shortly before at his daughter Lucy, and before his wife could replicate something, he kissed her, girdling her waist gently. "But this didn't prevent me from being the luckiest and happiest man in the world, and I am sure that it's the same for Ron."

"Dad, Dad! You're back!" Lucy and Molly ran in, and Percy, breaking away from his wife, opened his arms to accommodate them in a collective embrace.

"Hello, little girls! How did it go today?" The two daughters began to tell out their day talking one above the other, making vie to see who could say more things at once. Percy couldn't help but smile amusedly. He was still the luckiest and happiest man in the world.

Author Notes: Hi. As you can see from my profile, I'm not English. But I have decided to translate some of my stories that I wrote on an Italian site of FanFiction for this site. I apologise in advance if maybe there is some error.
