Prologue
The Hogwarts train whistle chimed, signaling the departure from the 9 and ¾ platform where students of all shapes and sizes scurried into compartments with their friends and classmates, still carrying their luggage. The train slowly lurched forward, the platform now finally getting further and further away. However, some students still found it suiting to stick their heads out the windows to wave back at their tearful parents still standing on the platform, who were gradually getting smaller.
A dark hair girl sitting by the window in an empty compartment gazed jealously at the loving waving parents, wishing that her parents would have actually be willing to come see her off. But they always seemed to be too busy or not bothered and therefore left her to take care of herself. But as soon as the platform went out of sight her piercing green eyes finally seemed to relax and was able to focus more on her onward travel home, to Hogwarts, rather than her lonesome childhood.
This girl named Rosalie Noelle Laurent was overjoyed that she was finally returning for her 7th year, finally being able to escape her parents for at least a year. Her eyes followed the passing scenery out the window, taking in the calming landscape, overjoyed that her troubles were now finally over. However little did she know of the mischief that lurked around the corner. Little did she know that one handsome boy would capture her heart and turn her world upside down. Who is this boy, you might ask? The One and Only Tom Marvolo Riddle and this is the story of her fatal future.
