Authors Note: Hi there! I'm Enna, and this is my... First. Ever. Fanfic. I've been reading for a good, long while, but I just now got the courage to post this... So... Please tell me what you think! Also, this story has an implied Jane/Lisbon pairing so if you're not a fan, back out while you still can! (Hey that rhymed!)

As a reporter, I feel that it is my duty to report any interesting experiences or occurrences. And, as I have traveled all over the world, I have experienced some very strange things, but what happened to me yesterday... That tops everything.

I was sitting by myself in an airport terminal, preparing to board a flight to Cincinnati, when, out of nowhere, a young boy appeared. This boy was remarkable but only because of his excessive good looks. He had extremely dark brown hair and green eyes that seemed to bore into my very soul. He flashed me an easy, made-for-television smile and began to stare at me. At first I was amused, perhaps this child knew me from one of my rare television appearances, but soon I began to worry. What if this child was lost and needed help? Unfortunately for me, my questions and worries were soon put to rest. The boy spoke, with his perfect smile still gracing his features,

"Your mother forgives you. She wanted you to know."

I was stunned. What did this boy know about my personal life?

"What could you possibly mean by that?" I asked, bewildered.

"The two of you had a falling out before her untimely demise. She forgives you for it."

"I'm afraid I don't understand."

"I'm a physic. I know your deepest thoughts and fears."

"No he doesn't!" And suddenly a teenage girl was standing by the boys' side. She had blonde curls and the same piercing green eyes as the boy. There was no mistaking the resemblance, the two had to be brother and sister. Or cousins, at the very least. The girl looked at me apologetically and said,

" I am so sorry, ma'am! My brother likes to mess with people, especially reporters. He was supposed to be buying himself a drink." At this point, the girl sent the boy a pointed look, and then she took his hand.

"We'll be on our way now. So sorry, again!"

I looked at the two of them, feeling utterly and completely confused. As they started to walk away, I shouted,

"How did you know I was a reporter? Who are you?"

The girl smiled back at me,

"You have the air of a reporter, and I'm Petra Jane," here, her brother interrupted her,

"and I'm Ethan Jane, I'll be here all week!"

The girl rolled her eyes ,then the two disappeared into the crowded airport, and I could only think about one, single question.

"Jane?"
