The protagonist of this stories name is Spencer. He recently moved to Japan in hopes of getting a better education than that of his original home in Nevada. He had spoken Japanese since a very young age when his parents made him learn it so he found it easy to connect to people there. He was roughly 5'7" and had blonde hair and blue eyes with chiseled features and a round nose as well as a serious obsession with gaming and anime. But enough about his appearances and how he got there.
Spencer's high school life in Japan started very uninterestingly with only meeting a few friends. But one of those friends happened to be someone he admired very much; Takasu Ryuuji. A lot of people stay away from Ryuuji (seeing as he had a permanent scowl on his face making him look like a delinquent) but Spencer found him interesting since he was a great cook and had an odd fetish for cleaning. But the thing he was jealous of Ryuuji for, is the fact that he was able to talk to Aisaka Taiga so easily. Spencer had had a crush on Taiga ever since he moved to Japan and wished it was that easy for him to talk to her but Ryuuji lived right next to her apartment and she went over to his house all the time to eat the food that he cooks. The only problem he had with talking to Taiga was that she might beat the crap out of him if he even tried to tell her his feelings (that chick can be really scary sometimes).
This story all started that day, the day he asked Taiga out. The day started like any other, with Spencer feeling tired and not wanting to get out of bed. But he did get out of bed, if only to watch anime or play a game. After getting ready in ten minutes and playing games for an hour he left for school. As always he met up with Ryuuji and they walked to school together. The classes dragged on as they usually did with the only deviance being that the teacher talked about her boyfriend dumping her and the teacher then broke down crying and talking about how pretty she was. And she was, however, she was also emotionally unstable and seemed almost yandere to a lot of people. After the boring classes and talking with Minori (who Takasu-kun had a huge crush on) Spencer decided to go and find Taiga. She was hanging out on the roof eating some rice balls that Ryuuji had made for her since she didn't ever make her own food. He walked up to Taiga tenderly and quietly asked if she would talk to him. She surprisingly agreed but only in her tsundere way which involved punching him in the face and calling him an idiot. After she agreed to talk to him, Spencer decided he was just going to tell her he liked her.
"Ever since I moved here I thought you were extremely beautiful and wanted to go out with you," he stated awkwardly. Taiga's response to this was an angry kick and leap down the stairs.
"Oh great," he thought, "now I've done it." But what he didn't know was that Taiga actually liked him too.
