Ok. I don't know how or why this turned out this way. All I know is that my sis gave me a prompt and I sort of ran with it. I'll tell you what the prompt was at the end.
WARNING: character death
"Hahahaha! ROFLMAO! Chuck, where the heck did you get that?" Morgan was really getting on Chuck's nerves today, especially since he was being deadly serious. If only looks could kill.
"Oh, you're serious?"
"Do I look serious?"
"No, you just look exactly like you're sister when I come over to your place."
"Dude, are you even listening to me?"
"Nope. Just trying to picture Sarah as a spy. Oooh… leather…"
"Ugh! I can't tell you anything!" Chuck turned to leave as his phone rang. He answered it, realizing who it was, he began to whisper. He ended the call after a few minutes of arguing. "Uh, well I have to go."
Morgan called after him. "Yeah, Chuck! You go play 'Spy' with your girlfriend. You'll tell me all about it tomorrow, won't you? Yeah, that's my best friend, right there. Yeah. " No one was around to listen.
The next day…
"Hey, Chuck. Can you tell me if Casey left a handprint on my face? I could sue for assault." No one answered. "Chuck? Chuck? Where are you?"
The manager answered, "He didn't come to work today. Didn't even bother to say why."
"Hmm… he's probably just still angry at me." Morgan continued to search for evidence of assault.
More days passed…
Casey wasn't coming to work either. "Is everybody at a party or something? And didn't invite me?" Morgan called Chuck's sister. She didn't know where he was either.
"Oh, I thought he just moved in with Sarah. Thought he was gonna surprise me, or something… wait, did you do something again?"
"No. Why would you even consider that?"
"Morgan."
"Okay, okay. He's mad at me because he was telling this story about Sarah and I was not getting the picture, I guess. Don't worry; he always comes back sooner or later, probably later. But who can hate me for long?"
"Hello?"
A week later…
"It isn't funny anymore, man. Your sister's getting worried. You're not answering your phone. .. Chuck! Where the hell are you?" Morgan ended the call. Frustrated, he ran over to Weinerlicious where the "spy chick" worked. He burst in. She hurriedly wiped her face and sniffed.
"Can I help you?"
Morgan thought, a spy wouldn't be that nice. Come on, Chuck.
"Yeah, where's Chuck? … and why are you crying?"
She almost began to cry again. Her eyes were brimming with tears. "Uh… I don't know where he went. He just… broke up with me."
Morgan chuckled. "Yeah, right. He wouldn't do that. You're totally hot. He might be crazy enough to think you and Casey are spies, but…"
"What did you say?" She gasped.
"Yeah, he was sayin' about how government secrets were stuck in his head and you were a spy…" His eyes widened. "Is it true?" She nodded. "No way. Is this a prank? Really. Where is he?" Morgan looked around expecting Chuck to come out and surprise him.
"No! It's not a prank!" She startled him. She forced herself to calm down. "He was killed. Someone was trying to capture him. It all went wrong. I couldn't save him. There was just too much bleeding." She couldn't go any further.
"No. No. You're lying! Stop it. Stop lying to me!" Sarah didn't meet his eyes. "Why are you doing this?!" Morgan ran in a vain attempt to search for him. Sarah broke down and fell to the ground weeping.
A week after Morgan ran away, Chuck's body was supposedly found in an abandoned warehouse. His sister cried for hours and left the city after the funeral.
Chuck's case was unsolved.
Morgan couldn't be found for questioning.
So here's the prompt:
Chuck finally tells Morgan his secret. Morgan is ecstatic until Chuck goes missing.
I don't know where the 'ecstatic' part went though.
Pwetty pwease, review. XD (and tell me if there are any errors or anything, too!)
