I was at my apartment or 'flat' as Fabian calls it. I was so bored until I got a text from Fabian. It read 'Hey Neens! Can you try, a day without communication, no text or calls?' 'Why?' I replied curiously. 'Just to try if you can make it,' he replied. 'Oh okay sure,' I replied.

(A day has passed)

I was going to Fabian's place to tell him I made it. As I was walking towards his place I noticed his door was slightly open, I rushed to his door and shouted his name,"Fabian! Fabian! Fabian it isn't funny anymore!" I suddenly heared footsteps at the door, assuming it was Fabian I shouted at the person, "FAB-" but I stopped when I saw who it was, it was Fabian's neighbor, Mrs. Pincher. "Nina dear, haven't you heard?" "What is it Mrs. Pincher?" "Fabian's dead honey" she explained. I slowly felt hot tears coming out and I slowly slid through the wall. Mrs. Pincher just looked at me sympathetically I just gave her a forced smile, for an old lady she is really sweet and doesn't mind the constant noise coming from Fabian's apartment courtesy of me squeeling and Fabian chasing me. "Where is he?" I asked quietly, "He's in his room dear" she replied. I quietly thanked her and slowly went to Fabian's room. What I saw just killed me, Fabian was there in a coffin lying peacefully. I suddenly noticed a note lying at his night stand. I carefully picked it and started reading it.

'Dear Nina,

Did you make it? I hope you did, I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I have stage 4 cancer and as you read this I'm probably in a coffin right now. I need you to stay strong and move on... for me please! You need to know that I love you Nina, always have and always will. Open the cabinet on my night stand, there you'll see a small box, inside it is a engagement ring that I bought for you, I was gonna give it to you on our anniversary but I guess I was too late. I want you to keep it Nina, for you to remember me. I'll always love you my chosen one but I need to go.

I can now feel new hot fresh tears flowing on my face. I slowly took out my phone and called Amber. It took 3 rings until she picked up. "Hey Neens! What's up?" She asked in a happy tone "A-amber," I stuttered, "What's wrong Nina?" Amber asked "F-fabians dead," I managed to say "Oh my god, I'm so sorry Nina, I'll call the gang where are you?" "I'm at Fabian's flat," I answered "Okay, see you soon." I just pressed the end button and opened the cabinet, there I saw a small box, I opened it and saw the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. I saw something engraved in it, it read 'I love Nina love Fabian x' I was now crying loudly.

-3 years later-

I'm lying at the grass next to Fabian's grave, still admiring my ring. I am suddenly blinded by light, I stood up as the light disappeared and there I saw my one true love Fabian. "Fabian!" I squeeled as I hugged him tightly, he hugged back tighter. "Nina, I missed you, so much," Fabian told me as we broke apart "I missed you too! You have no idea how much it pains me to see your grave," I answered. He then leaned in and kissed me with passion, I kissed back filling in all the emptiness I felt. After about 5 minutes we broke apart in need of air, "Stupid air!" We both said in unison, then laughed. "You wore the ring?" He asked "'Course I did!" He just smiled and whispered "I have to go now Neens, but promise me something," "Anything" I said, "Promise me that you'll move on," he said "Fabian," I started. "Nina, please for me?" He pleaded, of course I gave in and sighed "Fine, I'll try but I'll never forget you." "And neither will I," he answered. We hugged once more and I could feel him fading. Goodbye Fabian.
