Heyyy x This is a one shot I decided to make because I was bored lol please read and review xxx
It was a summer's night. The stars in the sky watched over the people below...The whistle of the wing died down as Shadow was sitting on the grass, Sonic and Amy were looking over at him.
"I wonder what's wrong with him..." Amy said and obviously concerned as she had feelings for the black and red hedgehog.
"Hmm...I don't know" Sonic replied to her, even though he did know. Shadow had told him a while ago that he had feelings for a certain young pink hedgehog, called Amy. The question was did she love him back?
Shadow sighed as he took one more gaze at the stars before he got interrupted by Amy.
"Are you OK, Shadow? You look sad" She said with a worried look on her face. Shadow looked up at the green-eyed hedgehog, he loved so much.
"I'm fine, I just have a lot of things to think about, that's all" He reassured her. She sat down next to him.
"What sort of things?" She asked. Shadow sighed.
"Well...My friend likes this girl but he doesn't know if she likes him back the same way, and he doesn't know what to do"Shadow said.
"Hmm...Maybe your...'Friend'...could just tell her how he feels and hope for the best," Amy advised. "Now tell me more about your...'Friend'..." She giggled.
"Oh...er...well...he's a hedgehog. He wants to protect the Earth just how he promised to Maria..." Amy smiled and she continued for him, "let me see..." She giggled again... " He's got black quills with red stripes on it" Shadow gulped. "He can use Chaos Control all the time" Shadow nodded uncertainly. " And his name is Shadow the Hedgehog!" Shadow's face went red...
"So lets see about the girl" She said "Is she tall? Small?"
"About my height, slim, with pink silky quills" Shadow started building up confidence, "She's a hedgehog, She has a Piko Piko Hammer, she's kind and caring and..." Amy interrupted him...
"Me?" Shadow nodded. "Shadow, I...Love you too..." Shadow's eyes widened in shock.
"Wait...You do?" Shadow asked.
"Yeah... How long have you loved me for?" She asked him.
"Er...I dunno... About a couple of months...but I think longer...I wasn't listening to my thoughts...I was too caught up with protecting the Earth..." he confessed. Amy smiled. A blush creeping up on her smooth face. They looked into each others eyes...they started to close the gap between them...moving closer and closer till their lips finally met. Shadow moved his hands on her waist and Amy's trialled around his neck. Both of them treasuring the wonderful moment that felt like forever... They broke apart...looking into each others eyes again and smiling...
They walked back to where Sonic was still cleaning up. He saw that they had blushes on their faces.
"Did I miss something?" He asked and he saw Shadow and Amy's massive smiles.
"I told Amy about my feelings" Shadow admitted. Sonic grinned. He felt happy for the two of them.
"Finally!" Sonic said, "It's about time!" He chuckled. Shadow and Amy shared embarrassed looks.
"Come on Amy, I want to show you something!" Shadow said as he grabbed Amy's hand and dragged her up a hill. Shadow took her over to show her the sunset that was setting behind the mountains in the distance.
"Wow! It's beautiful!" Amy said.
"Yes but not as beautiful as you" Shadow whispered in her ear and she giggled.
"Oh Shadow, I wish I told you that I loved you sooner" She admitted. They were still holding hands. Amy rested her head on Shadow's shoulder. Shadow grinned a little, He was happy that he got to tell Amy about his big secret.
Sonic was watching them, he couldn't have felt happier...He knew that they both love each other deeply and it just proves that 'Love is only a thought away'...
