Prompt: Accidentally in Love – Counting Crows
Dave looked at the woman next to him and couldn't help but smile. He had went and fallen in love again and he knew that this time that it was the real thing. He just hoped that she returned how he felt. What had started out as a casual thing had ended up into a serious relationship. He just hoped that once he told her how he felt that she wouldn't freak out. He knew that she was afraid of being hurt. He smiled when he heard everyone yelling Happy New Years. He knew that this was the perfect time to tell her how he felt.
He pulled her to him and lowered his head and captured her lips in a searing kiss. He couldn't get enough of her. Anytime he was around her he wanted her and this time was no exception. He groaned into her mouth when he heard her moan into his mouth. His tongue swept in and he deepened the kiss. He broke the kiss and put his forehead on hers as they both fought to catch their breath. "Emily I love you. I'm in love with you. I didn't mean to fall for you but I've found myself accidentally in love with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know that when we started this we said that it wouldn't get serious but it has and I'm not sorry for that. I need you like I need air to breathe. I need you for my heart to keep on beating. I've been waiting and waiting for the perfect time to tell you and I just realized that since it's New Year's and a time for miracles that now is the perfect time. Happy New Years babe."
Emily's eyes widened in shock at Dave's confession. She couldn't believe that he loved her but yet staring into his eyes like she was she knew that what he said was the truth. She knew that he was in love with her. She could also see the fear in his eyes that she was going to bolt. She let a smile spread across her face slowly and let the love that she felt for him come into her eyes. "Dave I'm not going to bolt. I knew a while ago that what started out as a casual affair for us turned into something more. I knew months ago that I fell accidentally in love with you. I wouldn't change that for anything. You have become my life Dave and I don't want to spend another day without you always by my side. Happy New Years honey."
Dave grinned and once again captured Emily's lips in a searing kiss.
A/N 2: So I'm not sure how I feel about this story... It's not that I have anything against Dave and Emily being a couple it's just I always picture Emily with Hotch... *clears throat* So with that being said I am now going back to glaring at Randall... *glares at Randall* Just remember payback is a bitch! *gives an evil laugh* Happy New Years everyone!
