13 year old Ash Ketchum stood with his childhood friend/rival. He had just won the Kalos league and he and his friends came back to the little town of Pallet. In front of him was Gary, They stood in front of their "Secret" fishing spot. It was a beautiful spring with a little pond. The boys had come here to swim play camp and fish in the past. The spot was surrounded by trees making it a secluded spot that only the two boys knew about.
'What, ya homophobic or something..?"
Gary stared at Ash who looked shocked then laughed.
" Well no, its just that well um…"
Gary stared at Ash eagerly until Ash scratched his head in embarrassment.
"Let's just say you and I have something in common…"
Ash bit his lip and looked down. Gary broke out into a huge kiddish grin.
"What?"
"Well there was a reason that I choose to tell you..Ash….I"
"Love you." Ash finished.
Gary looked up surprised and smiled.
"You like me to?"
"I everyone says I'm dence… Yes I Ash Ketchum am in love with Gary Oak."
Gary and Ash broke out giggling. They held hands as they walked back gently teasing each other.
As they enter Ash's house they were greeted by all of his friends. Everyone stared at the two holding hands.
"About fucking time you two...:" Misty slyly remarked.
Everyone laughed as the two blushed deeply. Ash took a deep breath and kissed gary on the cheek. Gary smirked and kissed him right on the lips. Everyone cheered and clapped for the two coming out.
All through the night the two held each others hands during the party.
