"Drowning the Memories that Haunt Me"

The ghost of warm, tan skin caresses my fingers and I choke, clutching at the cement block beneath me for support.

It doesn't offer any.

Relentlessly, I swallow gulp after gulp of this fiery poison to wash away his memory and the agony that haunts me because he's gone. On the inside I'm just as cold as the snow all around me and my brown irises appear dull and lifeless. It's because I'm empty without him here just like this bottle of Jack.

It's quite ironic that I choose to consume the very thing that took him away from me.
