A\N: Hello Uprising fans! I thought this fic was necessary. I hope it's an enjoyable read. :)
"What do you know on Tesler's commanders?"
"Pavel? His ego is bigger than I am tall. And he's as brainless as a gridbug."
"No, the woman."
Beck paused and looked up at Tron.
"What about the woman?" he asked.
"What do you know about her? Strengths, weaknesses, background. Anything at all, I'm just gathering information." Tron looked back and forth from his data pad to Beck. When Beck didn't respond, he set it down and stared at him.
"Cat got your tongue?"
"I don't really know her too much. Sort of. I mean, I've fought her and we've… well she hasn't really said anything but she's threatened me though." Beck swallowed and strummed his fingers nervously on the arm of the chair he was sitting in. "She seems mean."
"Mean, huh?" Tron picked his data pad back up and continued to mess with it, as if he hadn't heard Beck's stuttered speech.
"You like this woman?" Asked Tron. Beck raised an eyebrow.
"Ha… good one."
"I'm serious, Beck." Tron glared at him for a second, then went back to his pad. Beck snorted and stood up, crossing his arms.
"I'm needed at the garage in about a half an hour. Able will kill me if I'm late, so I better get going…" Beck started side stepping towards to door, trying to go unnoticed.
"You can get to Argon in less than six or seven minutes."
"So?"
"So, you have time." Tron pointed to the chair. "Sit." Beck gave an overly exaggerated groan and flopped back down.
"It's okay to like someone, Beck. It's only natural… and you're at an age where you will start to like gir-"
"If you're about to give me the talk, I swear I'll leave faster than you can catch me." Beck interrupted. Tron looked at him, then chuckled.
"I'm just talking."
"Keep your advice to yourself." Beck muttered. There was about a five minute silence before Tron turned to him with a grin.
"So, what is she like? Is she pretty?" Beck crossed his arms and snorted.
"She looks fine."
"What color of hair?"
"Brown."
"What about her eyes?" asked Tron. Beck looked at him incredulously.
"You think I get close enough to her to see that? I don't pay attention to details anyway. In fact, I hardly look at her at all." Tron smiled, shaking his head.
"So much denial! She must be beautiful, you really like her." Beck sighed.
"She's a lot shorter than I am, with brown eyes, and hair that's pulled back into a bun. She's thin, with muscular legs and a tiny waist. And…. Her chest is kinda big too. I don't really look at her much, though so I don't know if anything I just said is entirely accurate." Beck gasped. "See! Now you made me late. I have to go to work. I'll be back tomorrow. Bye!"
Tron shook his head again, smiling. Oh Beck, as easy to read as an open book.
