The Three

The Three

When the gentleman known as The Day met the delinquent known as The night, there was a brief pause in time. This pause in time would later become very important, but at that moment few noticed the small pause, and fewer believed the ones who noticed. It was a brief skip that you would have to be very attentive to notice. In fact, a lot of people didn't notice because of their work, their daydreaming, or their thoughts, only people who were very precise in keeping time noticed it.

The two men stood in silence. Day was a tall man in a top hat and suit. He was older and had blond hair that was beginning to turn gray. He had a bushy mustache and often wore a monocle on his left eye. In his left hand was a cane of pure silver that looked brilliant in the light.

Night was not as distinguished. He was just as tall, but was young. He had black hair and wore jeans. His hands were shoved into his pockets. He would sometimes pull a pocket watch out of his left pocket, though he only checked it in the evening hours. He had a dark and piercing gaze that had driven a man mad once, he was known for this.

Despite their differences, they shook hands, and seemed too have instantly become acquainted. As this happened a new thing was formed. It was twilight. Again, few noticed this as well. Twilight soon became a place, rapidly growing, changing, morphing, splitting into different realities. At ay given times three parallel twilights existed.

As time went on, a small number of humans discovered these places. The humans were called drug addicts and were diagnosed as insane. The most famous person to ever enter this place was known as Alice. She later came too call it "Wonderland". This was a misconception she got, as most creatures had gone insane and forgotten the true name of the place they lived in. As mentioned, their were three twilights, three wonderlands, and most importantly, three Alices.

The first Alice was young and had blond hair. This Alice was not very intelligent. She often confused word meanings and definitions, and couldn't do much math. Her Wonderland was nice, with slight insanity. The second Alice was very similar to the first, in fact, she just seemed too be an older version. In her dimension, all of her family had died, and because of it, she had become mad with rage. Her Wonderland was violent and filled with death. The third and final Alice seemed about the same intelligence level as the first. The difference between her and the other two was that her real name was Miyuki. Her Wonderland was very different. It seemed that all of the inhabitants were women, and even odder, homosexuals. Even worse for the third was that all of the women were attracted to her.

Though all three were in different worlds at different times, they would soon bring all of the worlds, all of the universes, all of everything, together.
