The hatch opened and down went another bug.
Quote had been sitting there for a while, he knew many things, but not how he did.
One of the things that he didn't know at all was how he was able to use organics things as fuel for himself. He had been sitting in the grass for the past hour, sliding many bugs and bits down his robot gullet. It made him feel like he could will up more strength, thus he had assumed that this was energy for him. He didn't know how he knew the concept of things needing fuel to go on, nor did he know how he got to this land. It just appeared before him.. Or did he appear before it? It didn't matter, questioning it would not resolve it unless he worked for hints. He shoved another slimy one in his bug-plaqued mouth.
"Wah... That's DISGUSTING!"
Quote's head turned.
Behind him was a rabbit-girl. Quote lifted his hand up and played around with the various small buttons on his headphones. The first time he tried them, he had found that they adjust his hearing and sonar detection. The settings were fine, he guessed that his brain-chips were so immersed in his calculations that they failed to receive the signal. Speaking of immersed chips, his still were. Quote realized he had been staring in the direction of the rabbit-girl for some time now.
The rabbit-girl in which Quote knew not much about, had taken the opportunity to approach him. She flicked his head.
"Hellooooo... BuWEEEEH"
Rabbit-girl made a face at Quote. In an unnaturally natural reaction, Quote titled his head.
"Oh, you're alive... As far as living robots go... Activated?"
The next best course of action, he assumed, was to interact with this weird rabbit-girl. Quote opened his mouth to un-muffle his speakers, but to his surprise, only a strange and twisted noise came out.
It seemed like it was also to the rabbit-girl's surprise, as she covered her large ears. Quote disabled his speakers, what was wrong with them?
"Ow.. Sensitive hearing has it's downsides, that sounded like a horribly broken radio. Are you okay?"
Knowing that for many it meant confirmation, he nodded. "What the heck are you doing here, Metal Man?"
Quote looked at himself, he didn't see any saws. Perhaps she was referring to what he was made of, should he then call her Fur Girl?
Getting back to the question at hand, Quote did the apparently universal sign of shrugging.
"Huh, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, buuuuut I'll ask. Do you know anything?"
Quote repeated his motion.
"So you don't know any place to go back to?"
His neck joint swiveled round side to side. No he did not.
The rabbit-girl's mouth grew larger and revealed more teeth. It was curved upwards, it gave Quote the sense that something pleased her.
"Alright! I get to take a robot home! You're coming with me!"
She grabbed his arm and yanked him up, they then both took off.
