Yep, I still own nothing but my mind. But with the way society is developing, maybe soon I won't even own that.
The first time Logan saw Veronica she was playing soccer. He did think she was hot. But it was more than that. She captivated him. Her long blonde hair was tied back and her smile radiant, and while some of the team were really aggressive and others slacking off and laughing, she was a mixture of both – she was taking it seriously, but not too much so. He smiled at her and tentatively, she smiled back. Veronica wore no make-up and dressed conservatively. She was witty, smart, beautiful, naïve and gorgeous. She was totally out of his league. Then he met Lilly. Lilly was wild, rebellious, and more like Logan than Veronica was. He knew he could have a girl like Lilly. He knew how Lilly operated, because he was the same. They both were let downs to their respective parents, they were both defiant and party animals. Girls like Lilly he understood. Girls like Veronica were the mystery.
When Lilly brought Veronica home, it was the first time Duncan every really noticed Veronica. He watched as Veronica looked at the house in amazement. He'd forgotten what it was like to have someone appreciate the size of the house rather than take it for granted and he wondered what her house was like. Duncan was instantly attracted to the petite girl. She was beautiful and quiet, so Duncan watched her all day, listened in to Lilly's and her conversations. When school came the next day, and Veronica stepped cautiously towards the 09er table, Duncan quickly offered her a seat next to him. Lilly was observant and quickly set to hooking the two up.
Weevil had seen Veronica Mars around before, he'd heard all the rumours and watched all the turmoil; but he never really payed attention to her – with her pink clothes, long blonde hair, and 09er status, she wasn't someone he wanted anything to do with. The first time that he spoke to Veronica after Lilly was murdered was after she cut Wallace from the pole. She was smart-mouthed, quick-witted, tough, funny, and completely unlike he'd thought, entirely different to what he'd heard. And that night, she didn't even seem unfazed by a gang of PCHers surrounding her, hell she made a deal with them. Her sarcasm and poise surprised him. She didn't back down, didn't surrender, didn't seem scared about the gang of leather clad bikers. And that intrigued Weevil.
