Altair travelled around to many stories along with Setsuna, looking for ways to help
shows out. They found one world, the world of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and discovered
that Kyubey can grant wishes. Deciding that Setsuna needed some kind of powers, Setsuna
wished that she could use Holopsicon. Altair ended up wishing to be able to grant wishes.
Granting the first wish, Setsuna was able to use a version of Holopsicon, although a weak
version that grew in power as she trained. Altair ended up with an ultimate wish-granting
power, with the drawback that she had to grant wishes to other people in exchange for
them doing tasks that she wants them to do. Satisfied, they went on their way, but Kyubey
made them work on defeating Homura, as she made Kyubey the being that takes the force
of the curses of the world.
