Vincent stared down at the small silver haired child in front of him, the child's cat like green eyes glaring hatefully up at him.

"Vincent, this is Sephiroth. Your job is to...watch him." His boss instructed choosing his words carefully. Vincent whipped his head around to glare at him.

"I am not a babysitter, sir." Vincent growled out.

"You will do you duty as you were instructed." His boss replied coolly before turning on his heel and walking away. Vincent scowled as he looked back down at Sephiroth. The child gave him a cruel smile.

"Let's play a game." He said.

"What kind of game." Vincent asked in a hesitant tone.

"War." Sephiroth said quietly smiling evilly before bolting off down the halls of the Shinra Labs. Vincent wasted no time as he chased after him curing his luck. He tried to keep that silver blur in his line of vision, but the child proved to be fast, and soon Vincent had lost track of where he had gone. Vincent cursed under his breath. Of course they would give him the stupidest assignment ever, having him baby-sit of all things. He was a Turk for Christ's sake.

Vincent paused as he heard the soft almost indictable sound of footfalls on the concert floors of the halls. He pressed himself up against the wall and inched closer to the nearest corner in hopes of surprising the boy and catching him. He smirked to himself as he heard a shoe scrape against the floor. He was almost surprised when Sephiroth jumped out from the behind the corner brandishing a pipe of all things. Vincent's Turk training kicked in as he jumped up grabbing onto the pipes that ran along the ceilings of these dirty halls curling his longs legs up with him. Not moments after his feet left the ground a loud clang rang through the halls as Sephiroth's pipe hit the wall. Vincent stared in amazement as Sephiroth dropped the pipe, the vibrations running through it hurting his small arms.

"A pipe?" Vincent said in shock, his voice breaking with the question. Sephiroth gave him one more evil smile before bolting off again. Vincent dropped down from the pipes and stared at the one on the floor. A pipe? Vincent looked at the direction Sephiroth had run off in, a smiling spreading over his face. Oh, it was on now. Vincent ran after him trying to follow the sound of Sephiroth's shoes on the hard floors. Vincent grabbed onto the corner of the wall as his slick dress shoes caused him to slide around corners. He paused and saw a flash of silver hair disappear around a corner. He rushed after it hoping to at least catch up with the small child. Finally Vincent slide to a stop as he cornered Sephiroth in a dead end. He calmly walked down the hall toward the small child watching as he tried desperately to open a locked door. He quickly turned around as he heard Vincent's shoes clicking against the concert. He pressed himself up against the lock door as he watched in horror as Vincent began to unclip his gun from its holster. Vincent paused in front of the boy, watching as his green eyes grew impossibly wide, staring at the gun barrel pointed at his face.

"Bang." Vincent whispered cocking the gun up as if it had been kicked back by a bullet. And Sephiroth smiled.
