This is the first GrellSebastian story I've posted... ever, haha. So please bear with me through the failure. This is just an intro to what is to come. Please feel free to flame me, I like my fires hot~ Reviews on notes, advice or even things you'd like to see as the story progresses makes all the difference for this special fic.

I do NOT own Kuroshitsuji. I wish I did, but so do many a fangirl.

It was a rare, rainy day in the Shinigami Dispatch society courtyard when Grell turned in his long term break papers, silently passing his friends, waving as if he'd see them again the next day. Long term was definitely long term. Everyone was surprised that Grell had been working so hard, collecting and properly recordings souls almost as good as Will. So when it was announced via memo that Grell was taking a long leave of absence, everyone was surprised.

"Two hundred years?" Ronald Knox, one of Grell's good friends was surprised to see the red memo card left by Grell. Eric and Alan also received the same cards and took their co-workers leave the way they wished. Will was the one to revive a letter, which he kept secret to everyone. He hadn't even opened it yet. He knew why the Shinigami had left, why he decided to take such a long vacation.

The four, Alan, Eric, Ronald and William were gathered by Grell's empty office, sitting in it, enjoying the mini going away party Grell had put up for them, even though they all knew he wouldn't be there.

"It's that damn demons fault, isn't it?" Ronald piped up, sloppily holding a glass of deep red wine –a favorite of Grell's he allowed them to partake in. "He probably suckered Grell to follow him or some shit, didn't he?"

The silence in the room was filled with chuckling. "He just wants a break. Maybe he's finally going to get that sex change." Eric tried to make a joke of it, knowing the Shinigami would never fully go through with it. He quieted down when Alan gave him a stern look, "I think he just wants some alone time to clear his head. The two left… Pretty quickly."

Again the silence was horrid, as if someone had put a thick blanket around each word. Left... Ciel and Sebastian had departed, vanished off the face of the earth, and all was left was the mansion, the ruins of the Trancy house and small reminders of the two demons who used to cause the reapers such trouble.

The small talk was enjoyed, despite Will's silence through the whole conversation. They were getting ready to leave when Will held up his glass, nearly full.

"To Grell, wherever he may be and whatever he does."

The silence was cracked, marred by his words and clinking of glasses before laughter as a tipsy Alan dropped his glass.

"He's so going to kill you when he comes back and finds you stained his rug!"

So what did you think? Did you like it or not? Please review! The more I get, the more I'm willing to post more and not be a slacker. But here is the fun part. I have three different ways the next chapter can begin. So after you read, do the following.

Write A- If you want to know what Grell is doing.
Write B- if you want to know what and how Ciel and Sebastian are doing.
Write C- If you want to know how everyone is taking Grell's leave, including what is inside Will's letter.

Please please please feel free to flame me. I'm not a good writer, and obviously I probably made a few mistakes here and there.

See you all next time~
