'' Bones what are you doing ? '' asked Kirk as he saw McCoy sitting in the Captain's chair but as drunk as ever ,'' I thought I give it a try , no harm done . '' McCoy then got to his feet and look at the Captain ,'' Your the one that needs a little break Jimmy boy ,'' he smiled . Jim Kirk sat down and smiled ,'' What do you mean me , your the one that's let's say happy .''
'' I'm a right to be ,I would bet you Jimmy that if we switch places for a day your job would be a hell of a lot easier then mine .'' Spock stood at his science console wanted to say something but Kirk stopped him ,'' As Spock was about to say that would be most illogical Bones , I'd know none one bit about surgery what would happen if someone came in ? I'm a Captain ,not a doctor .''
'' Very funny Jim , as I do know there's only one patient in Sickbay, Ensign Chekov with a bruised arm but being a surgeon is more then that it's being able to listen and talk too people your good at that and besides there's Nurse Chapel there to the only reason I'm asking because I think we're forgetting about tradition in the twenty-third century and I believe in London or England at the time it was called Boxing day and where workers would switch places with their bosses too try too and relieve tension .''

'' McCoy doesn't drink like this at all unless something is or been troubling him but'd when he is sober he's as sane as you and I , besides if there's any real trouble you relieve him of command and take over and I'll report back to duty .Can you handle that , Spock ? '' Spock'd only raised an eyebrow and nodded to the Captain ,'' This'd indeed should prove to be very interesting Captain .''
