Spike padded quietly into the bedroom. On the bed, Buffy and Angel cuddled together after a passionate night of love making. Spike quietly approached the bed unnoticed.

"God, Buffy, it feels like ages since we've been together," Angel murmured to Buffy.

"It has been ages," Buffy replied, snuggling even closer. "Luckily, we Slayers age well. I think it's something we share with you vampires."

"It was worth the wait," Angel said, kissing her. "And now I have you all to myself."

"Well..." Buffy began, looking away.

"Buffy?" Angel said, beginning to feel alarmed. "What's wrong?"

Sensing an appropriate moment, Spike leapt onto the bed, joining Buffy and Angel in the snuggling.

"What..." Angel started.

"Angel," Buffy said, stroking Spike's back, "this is Spike."

Angel's face went slack jawed in surprise. "You named your cat Spike?"

"Not cat," Buffy corrected. "Treecat. From Sphinx."
