Planet Earth and Gallifrey share one like symbol in their two alphabets. It is the infinity, the sideways hourglass. To us it means infinity. To them, it means Always or Forever. Doctor/Master Song/Poem Rubbish. T because I'm afraid of the fanfic police

Hello fanfiction friends :) Today I present to you my Doctor/Master poem/song/thingy.

This is written to be a song, so forgive my * ahem * creative liberties with rhymes and syllables. I hope you enjoy.

I still remember back where it began,

the nights we spent dreaming and watching the sky,

the days when we laughed and we stood hand in hand,

and it felt like forever with just you and I.

Remember the night and the old, mournful band

And they played for us slowly the song of the damned

And we danced in the tempest of hourglass sand

I traced the sign of forever in the palm of your hand.

What in hell happened between me and you,

look at us now, we've gone so far astray,

you've made all my childhood nightmares come true,

but still I can't help but look back on that day.

When we stood in the night with the old, mournful, band

Who played us, so slowly, the song of the damned

And we danced in the tempest of hourglass sand

I traced the sign of forever in the palm of your hand.

It's been such a very long time since that day,

Our forever is something so different today,

It wasn't our fault that it all fell away,

Just sometimes the universe is cruel that way.

I told you forever means never too late,

and you said I'm so sorry, it don't work that way.
