Anyways, here's your Valentine's Day gift, Handy! I reallllly hope you like it! I wanted something fluffy for you, which is sooooo hard with an oc like Joice, but I think I did pretty well!
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day! I wish I could be on then to see you! D:
Joice sat on the roof of the building she and Kay lived in, staring up at the sky. "Tch, Valentine's Day…" She muttered under her breath. "What a stupid holiday." She'd never been interested in such a thing; it seemed absolutely foolish. What was the point in giving people chocolates or flowers? Did that truly make the relationship any more special? And what was the point in a relationship anyways? Joice scoffed. "It's all foolish." She muttered decisively.
Suddenly a voice rang out from the ground. "Joice!" Joice looked down to see Kay. "Yo." She waved slightly. "What's up?" He was holding his hands behind his back and smiling up at her. "Not much… Can you come down?" She sighed, and made her way down to his level. He grinned at her. "Happy Valentine's Day." He offered her a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Joice glared at it. "Tch, that's not what a real heart looks like."
His smile faltered. "I thought you'd like it…" She rolled her eyes. "Do I really look like a Valentine's Day kind of girl?"
"W-well… no, but—" Joice interrupted him. "You don't have to be nice all the time, you know, and besides, I don't need chocolates. Gifts have nothing to do with the fact that I like—" She stopped in the middle of her sentence, but it was too late. Kay grinned broadly. "You like…?" She turned red and shook her head. "I didn't mean—I don't—oh, fuck it!" Joice huffed, taking the box of chocolates. Kay just laughed. "You're a real piece of work, Joice." He grinned at her.
"Yeah, yeah." She mumbled, sighing. "I'm going to have to rebalance the universe, you know." Kay paled and gulped. "Right…" Joice smirked, and they took a seat, as she shared her box of chocolates. Just this once, she'd do something nice. The universe could be balanced later.
