The day after the Battle Of Hogwarts
The day after the battle of Hogwarts the world stood still. It seemed like no one dared to take a breath. Everyone knew what was going to happen next but, no one wanted to say. For this was the day when they said good bye to their loved ones.
It was sunrise and Hogwarts was still burning. It seemed shaken by the last night event. People were everywhere trying to remove rumble and bodies. Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting on the steps to what used to be the entrance hall, which was now a pile of burning rubble.
'Why did this have to happen?' asked Harry staring out on to the grounds.
'I don't know? Harry, I'm just glad you're still here mate.' replied Ron.
'It's all my fault! Ron I'm so sorry about Fred.'
There was a moment of silence. It lasted at least 10 minutes when Hermione whispered, 'It's not your fault Harry. No one could predict how it would turn out.'
They stood up and started walking over to where the Weasley's were standing over Fred's body. He was just lying there, like a dementor had given him a kiss and left him there. George was crying holding on to his hand.
'I may be holey but you're the true saint!' whispered George, struggling to get the words over his tears.
