A gentle breeze stirred the soft muted green leaves of the forest of trees surrounding the lake, some of which drifted down lightly to send minute ripples across the waters near stagnant surface. Near a small patch of lily pads which dotted the edges of the lake arose a small stream of bubbles followed by an emersion of black strands which seemed to float up seemingly from nothing. However, moments later, a form broke the water's surface; a light blue face appeared from the strands which settled down along his torso which seemed to have been sculpted by the masterful hands of a higher power. Raising its arm from the lake, it moved to brush the long strands of hair from its face when something on shore seemed to catch it's eye; a young maiden curiously peering from the bushes. Their eyes met and it was made obvious who was in control as the girl's eyes grew glazed and she was unable to pull herself away from the beautiful face of the lake deity, who began to stealthily move closer to shore, further enrapturing the maiden with his entrancing gaze. A smile graced the beautiful creatures face and as its sharp teeth were exposed it quickly dipped under the surface of the water, causing the girl to cry out and drag herself into the shallows of the lake in a vain attempt to locate it. A flash of white glittered under the surface, attracting the maiden's attention and as she came closer, she found herself standing in the water next to a beautiful white alligator that watched her vigilantly with both of its heads. Lunging closer, it grabbed one arm in each head and drug the poor girl out into the depths of the lake, stealing and absorbing all of her energy as she struggled to free herself until it changed forms again into the beautiful light blue man-like creature and she drifted silently off into Death's waiting arms with a smile on her face. Pulling its prey ashore, the creature emerged fully from the lake, a lamia-esque stature but instead of having a serpentine tail for legs, the thick strong plated trunk of a stark white alligator's tail grew with several thick plate spikes growing from the middle of its back down to about a foot from the end of its tail where they trailed off into light blue fin like appendages. The water glistened brightly on its scales as it began to tear into the flesh of its victim, blood running down its chest to land and shine with the other droplets and even as it ate ferociously, it seemed to do it with an entrancing sort of feral grace.
