Damon was standing next to fireplace with a glass of whiskey in one hand. He was staring at red flames and suddenly he heard someone's coming. He could smell her perfumes. Damon was about to step out, when she walked into a Salvatore's sitting room. He didn't even look at her, just kept staring at the fire.
"Damon is something wrong? You've been avoiding me whole day. Even when I tried to talk to you." she started slowly, like she was afraid that he'd explode.
"I know you and Stefan broke up" he answered. She opened her mouth like she was about to say something, but she didn't. Silence. Weird silence happened.
"And what does it have to do with us?" This time he looked at her with surprise on his face.
"Us?" he whispered.
"Damon. Ever since I became a vampire my feelings for you have been magnified, they have become more intense." she said with doubt in voice. "Yes, I do have feelings for you. I just don't know what those feelings are and I think I want to find out..." after she said that there became even more quiet. They were staring at each other, and both weren't sure what just happened.
"Well we should start from our tradition" he answered.
"Tradition?"
"The dance." Damon helped her with the guess. He walked towards her. Each second he was closer and when he put his arms around her wrist, her heart started to pound. "Our first dance was at Miss Mystic Falls a year ago"
"I know. I remember. This is when I actually thought about you like about normal guy who I could fall for." she said. She was surprised that she even said that.
"Funny. Cause this is when I actually did fell for you." he answered. They were really close to each other. Their faces were centimeters apart, but with every second a distance decreased. When he was about to became even closer, she pulled back.
"Damon. Don't you think it's happening to fast?"
"Screw this." he said and before she could answer him, she felt his lips on hers.
