I was worried when I got that phone call from Danny. He told me how Lacey and Jo had turned on him and things weren't looking good for him right now. It was sad because we were all best friends at one point. Me, Danny, Lacey and Jo. Sadly, that changed. Every day Danny was closer and closer to going back to juvi or even worse prison for Regina's murder, a crime he didn't commit. I hated seeing Danny this way. After 'that day', I was the only one besides Danny's mom who stuck by him. After Danny left, things changed. Lacey became friends with Regina and became popular. Jo became a social outcast and stuck to herself. And I, well I moved away 3 months later. It was like Danny was the glue keeping us together, and without Danny, we broke.

"Tatiyanah, I don't know what to do anymore. *sigh* I knew I should've never came back! If only my mom hadn't forced me. I mean what did she expect, that I would come back to Green Grove and everything would be fine, like I hadn't murdered someone 5 years ago? Maybe I should just runaway and leave. Ever since I came back, I've managed to screw both Lacey and Jo's lives over!", he sighed. I could hear his voice starting to crack. "Danny calm down. I know things aren't going so great but you have to keep holding on. You can't give everybody the satisfaction of watching you break. That's all they want.", I reply trying to calm him down. "Everybody thinks I killed Regina. I wouldn't kill somebody without a serious reason, I mean you know why I killed Tara."

I shuddered at the sound of her name. The person that caused so much hurt in both Danny and I's lives. The reason that everything that was happening today was taking place.

"Danny, I have some news." "What?" "I'm moving back to Green Grove."

Danny was silent for a moment.

"Seriously?", he asks, hope filled in his voice. "Yeah.", I reply with a smile. "When?", he asks. "I should be back Sunday. Today's Friday, can you hold up for 2 more days?", I reply. "I think I can live. I'll just stay home all weekend and only leave when necessary.", he says, I could hear the seriousness in his voice. "Danny!", I yell. "What? I'm being serious.", I could tell he was serious. I sigh, "Okay. I gotta go finish packing. Danny...it'll be fine. We'll make it through this. I got your back." "Thanks Tate." "Anytime Desai." "Bye." "Bye."

I hang up the phone and collapse on my bed. How am I gonna do this? I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do this. Do it for Danny. Yeah. I'll do this for Danny Desai...because I love him.
