Genre: Poetry/ Friendship

Disclaimer: I doubt anyone would believe that I own Pokemon, but just in case you do, I DON'T OWN POKEMON.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Okay, this is my first Pokemon fic and I'm nervous. This is basically a poem about the Trainer's thoughts on capturing Dialga and his/her reluctant yet virtuous decision to set him (I know Legendaries have no gender but I don't care! "He" sounds better than "it"!) free. If there's something you don't like and you wish to inform me in a review then do so but BE NICE! NO FLAMING! CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISCISM ONLY! Thank you and I hope it's okay. D Enjoy!

There once was a man

Whose eyes saw the whole world

As a cold, wicked place

With sins too great to be purged

He planned to do away with it

To start a pure world anew

Where no hate or death could live

And all emotions would be askew

The thought of my world's demise

Frightened me to a great extent

So I confronted him at the altar

At the peak of Mount Coronet

When I defeated him, only

Dialga and myself were left

Master Ball in my hand

That day I caught a good catch

Time went by gradually

Suddenly as I thought I realized

The day I caught him, the look-

The sadness in the god's eyes

Mourning for the terrible nature

Of all sinful humanity

Using his power for our own ends

Subjecting him to slavery

I took a deep breath and looked

To the heavens and sky

I threw the mauve capsule upwards

Releasing the god of time

His scarlet irises looked at me

A great look of happiness

"You're free," I smiled with tears

He beamed then returned to his world...
