Ed sat up and groaned, wondering where Truth had dropped him. It didn't look like anything much, just an abandoned warehouse nobody would care to visit.
A scuffle caught his attention, and Ed looked up quickly to see a kid gaping at him in horror.
Oh, boy. This wasn't going to end well, was it?
"Please don't eat me!" The kid squeaked, leaving Ed blinking in confusion.
"Why the heck would I eat you?" He asked.
"My mom said that if I come here there's a monster that eats kids like me! You mean it isn't true?" The kid looked at him hopefully.
Ed laughed. "Of course it isn't true!" The kid sagged in relief.
"You're way too bony for that; I'd put you in a stew."
The kid's face morphed into horror and he scrambled away, sprinting out of the warehouse as fast as his legs could carry him, Ed rolling on the warehouse floor clutching his stomach.
