Prologue
"Oh my God, yes! Mom! I got the admission in Miraculous High School," I screamed.
Miraculous High School, right in the heart of Paris is a school. Solid core curriculum, sports, liberal art...like a prep school for overachievers. They make sure they get the best of the best from all over the district, and it is government funded...we are talking crazy perks. Once you got enrolled there, you are given your own miraculouses. You could be a super hero! That is why it is so exclusive to make it here.
Not going to lie though. A kid like me, making it here...I wasn't so sure…maybe luck got me enrolled. Though I am not so sure it is going to hold much longer.
"I got this," I consoled myself. Well that is what I said anyway. My first step on the campus, my new life should have filled me with hope, instead...Darkness, utter darkness. Life as I knew was over.
Took me a little while to put it all together in fact at this time I was still clueless. Luck as it turned out had nothing to do with my enrollment. No….not the good kind anyway.
The core curriculum her was...Despair!
