"No!" He whirled around and looked and her for the first time in ages.
"No, I will not take the chance and let you lie to me again and feel like fox-dung all over again! No, I will not listen to you, no matter how sorry you are. We can never be the same as we were, never. You lied to me, betrayed me. I can't live with that for my entire life. And if that means never seeing you again, so be it. I'm sorry, but it's how things will be now."
Squirrelflight looked shocked that he said that. She opened her mouth to retort, then said simply, "Fine, that's how things will be. But keep one thing in mind; I'm still in love with you, and I know you still love me too." Then she turned around and went right to the warriors den, not looking back.
