It was bright and sunny day. Brutus, the scar-faced dog who usually a military dog but now he was retired. Brutus was adopted and have a new little sister, Pixie the kitten. Pixie is a innocent, silly and joyful kitten who met Brutus after he got retired. He finally became a best friend of Pixie.
Pixie was sitting staring at the sky. Brutus was sleeping on the floor. Pixie didn't want to bother him because he was tired after got training by his owner. Pixie was bored. She decided to go outside for a walk. Pixie left her house for a while to go to her friend's house.
It was already afternoon, Pixie is still not home. Brutus finally woke up. He opened his eye and looked around. He looked around the house to find Pixie but cannot fine her. "Where's Pixie?". Asked the door by himself. Brutus starting to miss her. So, he went back to the room where he was in sleep. He decided to get back to sleep to wait Pixie come home.
Pixie's finally back. He went to the room to see Brutus but he was still in sleep. "He's still sleeping?". Asked Pixie. She went to the attic and went under the box and starting to take a nap.
It was already dark and Brutus is still in his sleep. Suddenly, a storm just striked a thunder that made Brutus woke up. Brutus realized it was a thunder and starting to get scared like how he experience the war at the battleground. The explosion and loud noices that scared Brutus. "Pixie, where are you? I need you!". Brutus scared and starting to cry because he were very worried about Pixie.
In the attic, Pixie woke up when he heard a loud thunder. "Brutus probably scared right now, better go check on him.". Pixie went back to the room from the attic and saw Brutus under a pillow on his head. She knew that Brutus is scared by loud things like thunder and explosion bomb. She walked to Brutus to comfort him.
"Brutus? Ya alright brother?". Pixie had asked. Brutus opened his eye and saw her in front of her. "Pixie!!". Brutus cried as he starting to hug Pixie very tight. "Pixie, where did you go? I missed you so much!". Brutus cried. "Brutus, I'm sorry. I was in the attic trying to take a nap. When I heard a thunder I decided to check on you.". Pixie replied. Brutus were glad to see her. "Can sleep with me?". Brutus asked the kitten. "Sure, Brutus.". Pixie said. Pixie were sitting next to Brutus and comfort him. Brutus were very happy as he felt a sleep happily. "I love you Brutus.". Pixie said to the dog and starting to take nap with Brutus.
