Annabeth POV
After visiting my cousin I was in a good mood. After taking a long trip back home I was in a bad mood. I just want to go home with my boyfriend and fall in my warm bed cuddling with my blanket. Of course, it would not be that easy. Percy would pick me up in ten minutes from the airport. I was kinda hungry so I snooped around for a snack. Starbucks is right around the corner. I can have a little something and design some more statues for Olympus.
I walk over to the Starbucks getting out my computer. Holding my computer in my hand, I ask for a Hot Chocolate and sit down in the corner chair by the window to see if Percy is pulling up. I don't see him. Opening up my computer and getting on the Olympus software something tickles up my sleeve. Probably just a rash. "Annabeth", I heard the Starbucks employ call. I close my computer and get up to get my drink. Every step I get a feeling of weakness. Somethings around and I do not like it. I get my drink and leave the tip jar hanging. Rushing to my computer I begin shaking. Everyone's staring at me, I am making a scene. What's wrong with me. I collapsed to the ground practically paralyzed. A spider crawled out of my sleeve onto my jacket.
My eyes are going dizzy. What is wrong with me, i have never been this nervous about a spider. Pretty nervous but not this nervous. My drink is now burning my skin and ruining my cloths. I turn my head as everyone starts to crowd me. People are feeling my pulse and arguing about what happened to me. "She must be having a stroke",one man said. I heard a woman say,"Talk to us sweetheart, are your ok?" and a bunch of other ramble. The spider is long gone now.
All of the sudden a man pushes through the crowd. "Percy",I faintly whisper. He comes in to kiss my mouth. All of my anxiety flushes away. The spider is gone and I am with percy. He smells like the salty sea and a sunny day. He takes his head away and helps me up. We went home and I took a cold shower.
