A/N: Based on the "Homage to the Rabbits" from Criss Angel: BeLIEve. For the record, I have never seen BeLIEve, I only saw a few trailers and it a bit of research on it. But for this act, this is a way that I would describe it, I guess. I don't own Cirque du Soleil and Criss Angel's BeLIEve, or any characters or acts. ~Cristy
The magic man looked forward in the distance. Though the night was misty he saw that the moon glowed on a small box. The man walked forward and kneeled down to get a better look at this mysterious box. Brushing a bit of dust off of its surface he made out the words, "Rest in peace, Hopkins." A rabbit coffin!, he said to himself.
The man looked up and out of nowhere for as far as he could see, were rabbits and bunnies all crowded together. As if in a dream-or an unreal reality-, the rabbits morphed into humans in such an odd way to understand. Sadness, anger, and fear is what the man read from their faces. And the man understood all their stories now.
The rabbits all walked to the coffin dementedly. Instead of feeling sorrow for their lost one, they cried fake tears and wept with sarcasm just dripping from the voice. They weren't sad at all because they knew that this would be how they all would go. And they just waited and waited until insanity meet them all.
"You!," the rabbits pointed and hissed at an invisible being before them. Like they got shocked my millions of volts, the rabbits crumbled down to the ground, willing (but unable) to stand. Except one of them. The rabbit danced in front of the coffin for that was one of her many brothers. She'd dance until her death and try to stop this horrible plague of death. But the rabbits would have no choice. They were rabbits! They had no say if they wanted to be used to be pulled out of a hat or sawed in half!
The man now respected the rabbit and whispered to the coffin, "Are you ready?" then buried the late animal. He looked up again and saw that the bunnies had disappeared and he felt happiness in his mind again. And with that, the man of magic walked away.
A/N: That was nice. I like this one.
