It was unfair. Jackson was totally stuck between two great girls. First there was Melissa. Kind, caring and smart. Then there was Taylor, who was funny, beautiful and a lot kinder than when they had first met. He was sitting on the beach reflecting to himself. He knew he had to make a choice. After a couple of hours of debating, there was no girl he liked more, but Melissa was the one who liked him first and always accepted him, and he knew she deserved a chance. But before he told Melissa, he wanted to find Taylor, and tell her, and explain himself, so he went off looking for her.

Upon finding that Taylor wasn't at camp, he searched for her in the forrest. Suddenly, he heard her voice. ' Well, people already can see that I like Jackson, but too bad for me, he likes Melissa. I don't blame him though. I mean, she's so smart and has been nice to everyone this entire time, and me well, I haven't been that nice, although I'm trying now, it doesn't matter. Plus, people think I'm a useless, dumb barbie that might as well drop out of school, since I probably won't pass anyways,' she said in tears. She turned off the camera and Jackson quickly made his way back to camp.

When Taylor returned, Jackson looked at her, getting a good look at her face. It was no secret that she had been crying. She gave him a weak smile and walked off towards the beach. Jackson sighed and followed her. He found her sitting and staring into the ocean. "Hey," he said, sitting next to her. "Hey," she said without looking at him. "Ummm, listen. Don't get mad, but I heard you recording your video diary," he said nervosly. Taylor looked at him and then down. "Oh. Well, hey what I said was no secret anywyas," she said, on the verge of tears. Jackson took her hand. "Taylor, listen to me. You are so beautiful and funny. Sure you may not be super smart, but with a little bit of help, I know you can do much better. As for me liking Melissa more than you, it's not true. I like you both the same. But the real reason I was in the forest was to tell you that, I choose her. I mean, she's just always accepted me and she did like me first so I think that she deserves a chance," Jackson said nervously. Taylor quickly pulled her hand away from his. Their eyes locked. Jackson looked down sadly. But Taylor then grabbed his hand back. "Good luck," she smiled, although you could tell she was about to cry. Jackson stroked her hand with his thumb. "Thank you," he said. He hesitantly pulled his hand away and left. Taylor continued to stare at the water, completly unawhere that someone was watching.
