"You know what I feel like eating?"
Tohs random sentence cut through the comfortable silence.
"What?"
"Chocolate."
And gave a sound that was like a half giggle-snort.
"You feel like eating chocolate?"
"Yup. With nuts."
Aang gave another giggle/snort, and plucked at a clump of nearby grass. "Why?"
"Don't question the tastes of a master earth bender, Twinkle Toes."
There was a moment of silence.
"You know what I feel like eating?"
"What?"
"Chocolate. With nuts."
Aang couldn't suppress a wide smile and hearty chuckle this time. Spending time with Toph was so interesting!
"I wonder where Momo comes from."
This time it was Aang's random question that cut the silence.
"Weren't you listening, when Katara and Sokka explained the birds and the bees to us, Twinkle Toes? When we were 13?"
Aang did remember, and the memory made him shudder. Talk about life-scarring.
"No, I mean, where is Momo's family? I mean, we just found him. He wasn't with any other leamur, and I don't think he got frozen in an iceburg aswell."
"...Good point."
"We should go on a quest."
"To find Momos family?"
"Yeah. We'll call it Quest of the Momo."
"...We've really gone crazy with boredom, haven't we."
"Yup."
This was...random. I was on the computer, and suddenly got the urge to eat chocolate. With nuts. Then I got to wondering, 'does Momo have a family?' Anyway, the base-line was that the war has ended, and Toph and Aang have been driven to the point of insane by boredom. Hehe.
