Learning Hangman
By: M14Mouse
Summary: Ziggy and Dillon are bored and since tic-tac-toe wasn't enough. Ziggy thought of a new game.
Disclaimer: Don't own them.
Ziggy was counting squares.
They were very nice squares. They were very evenly cut and white. There was 139ish because 10 of the squares were cut in half. So, does he count that as a square or a half a square? Or maybe, he shouldn't count it as a square at all. Maybe, he should count it as a rectangle. It would make more sense.
So, there is…OUCH!
He turned his head toward Dillon and rubbed his side. He gave Dillon a look. He wanted to say something but Dr. K was doing her long speechy thing again. He really should listen. It was probably important. Okay, maybe, it was important or maybe, it wasn't. He wasn't quite sure because an hour, it was about the town's defense. Thirty minutes ago, it was about their weapons. Five minutes ago, it was about a guy named Bob.
Okay, he made that up.
Dillon elbowed him again and then moved a piece of paper toward him.
He looked at the others then at the paper. He grabbed a pencil and wrote down the word what?
He really shouldn't be doing this but….he pushed the piece of paper toward Dillon.
He watched Dillon write something down and push it toward him. He grabbed it and read the note.
I am bored.
He snorted and then wrote something down then passed it back.
So am I. Did you know that there are 139 squares behind the Doc?
He watched Dillon's face as he smirked at the message. Dillon leaned over and wrote something else then passed it along.
Through the entire hour, Doc has pace back and fore 93 times. No, make 94.
He almost laughed at Dillon's message then he wrote down a reply.
Tic-Tac-Toe?
Dillon read the message and shook his head.
S.O.S?
He frowned when Dillon shook his head again.
New game?
Dillon nodded his head.
Hangman?
Dillon made a face then took the piece of paper and wrote it.
What is that?
It's game that you have to guess a word but you have a limited amount of guesses. You get hanged if you don't guess the words in those guesses.
Dillon frowned for a moment. He waved his hand to show him on the piece of paper.
He drew out the large 7 and then made lines for a simple word like green.
Guess a letter.
Dillon wrote down a letter A. He shook his head and drew a circle under the 7. He moved the paper back toward Dillon. Dillon guessed another letter and they continued to go back and forward until Dillon's hangman was hung.
Game over!
Dillon took the sheet of paper and wrote it.
This game is kind of morbid.
He took the pencil away and wrote.
You are just jealous that I won.
Dillon chuckled and wrote down something.
Like I won tic tac toe.
He grumbled and wrote back.
I still thought you cheated.
Dillon just smirked at him.
My turn.
Dillon copied what he did and he started to guess. The game went on for a few minutes before he figured out.
Dillon wasn't too smart. Not that he would say that out loud because Dillon was his best buddy. But honestly, who use the name of their car as the answer.
HA! I won!
Dillon gave him a look and the finger. He stuck out his tongue and grinned.
"Ranger Green and Ranger Black, what are you doing?!" Doc shouted at them.
Dillon grinned at him and he grinned back. He turned around and lifted up his sheet of paper to show the others.
"Hangman," He said with a smile.
The reactions of everyone else but Dillon was down right priceless.
End
A/N: I have no excuse for this. None…but I hope that you enjoyed it! Read and review if you wish.
