"C'mon, let's get out of there," Hiroshi Sato said, tugging onto his daughter's hand.

"Dad, what do you mean?" Asami asked, dropping her eyeglass as she was pulled away from the stands of the pro-bending stadium. Genuinely confused, she glanced at her father, who seemed pained. His golden eyes were furrowed with apparent worry.

"Sweetie, do you remember what Amon said on the radio?" he asked.

Immediately, Asami flashbacked to the moment when the transmission of the radio in their spacious living room was interrupted by none other than Amon, the villainous leader of the Equalists. She nodded. "You really think he's going to attack the stadium?"

Then Asami saw it.

One by one, the good metalbender cops were taken down, quietly and swiftly, by what could unmistakably be Equalists. It was impossible to miss the commotion, especially from such a high position. A few years ago, Asami would have thought that the Equalists were good people before, but as their members increased in number and their goals became more straightforward, she often found herself detesting the anti-bending revolutionary group. They used incredibly vile methods to advance their agenda and inevitably gave the nonbenders, like Asami Sato and her father, a very bad name. Today was no exception.

"But Dad, what about Mako? And the rest of the Fire Ferrets? Will they be fine?" Asami said, her voice laced with concern. There was a shattering of yellow-tinted glass from high above and both looked up at the sight of a clearly Equalist airship. It roared thunderously throughout the stadium.

"Asami," he said very urgently. "We have to get moving now."

Asami looked backwards at the scene of the pro-bending championship match. Amon and his henchmen had already landed on the arena, right in front of the White Falls Wolfbats, the four-time champion team. Would Mako really be okay? But her father pulled her further in, and Asami knew that her safety was the most important to her father, especially after what happened to her mother. Asami trusted that Mako, as a current contender for the championship, could defend himself, as well as the Avatar and Mako's little brother, Bolin. She sighed and quickly exited the pro-bending stadium in a Satomobile to safety—their home.
