Based off the anime Erased. This is a prologue. I want to know what you all think. This idea has been bouncing around in my head for weeks.

Ichigo Kurosaki. 25 years old. He lives in Aizumisato, Japan now. He was born in the Japanese town of Karakura on July 15th. He was born with bright orange hair. Bright enough to be called rare. Bright enough to get bullied by it sometimes. But he has friends. Well, had friends.

Currently he works for a newspaper, being a journalist for the company. It's not his dream job. He wanted to be a successful writer. He was never that good with words, but when it came to writing he could speak volumes. But that dream was crushed long ago. Along with his hopes.

Not only did he not like his job, his personal life wasn't great either. He lost contact with his friends growing up after the incident. It didn't help that he had the power to go see the dead and go back in time. He had always been able to see ghosts. But he only got his power to go back in time, which he simply calls "Restart", few years ago.

The problem now was that the two powers clashed with each other. When he was younger, he could just see spirits in general. However because of Restart, he could only see the recent dead. Meaning only those who had died in time span of a few minutes. That was also the amount of time Restart sent him back.

Ichigo used to have a good life. His father mother, and twin sisters. He had the closest friends. It was as normal as it could be for him.

But then she died. Then he died. Then he died. Then she died. Death surrounded him his whole childhood. The mystery was "solved". But Ichigo knew he didn't do it. Not his mentor. He was Ichigo's friend. So why was he locked up? It didn't matter now. His mentor was on death row, due to die in a month.

He couldn't save them. None of them. At least back then. As an adult, Ichigo thought he escaped his tragic childhood and could move on.

But why? Why?

Why was he covered in his father's and sisters' blood?
