Ok...so...hi! *dodges tomato* I KNOW I KNOW! (this is only for the people who have already read this story and saw how it used to be) I'm so sorry that a)this used to be just one word and b)I haven't been writing in like...9 months. I've been on deviantART lately, and I totally forgot about writing. This might even go on hiatus...*gets hit by boot* (ow...)
so, yeah. I know this is sucky and won't make up for the hiatus. I am SO sorry. D':

Just outside the border of a city in Greece, a soldier walked on the walls of the city, looking for any signs of intruders. His shift was almost done.
"Just a few more hours," he thought to himself as he looked below him. "Just a few more hours, then I can go home." He stepped around an unlit fire pit, not noticing the shadow flying behind him. "It seems calm enough...I seriously doubt that anything will happen tonig-" He was cut off as the shadow, it turned out to be a bird, hit him from behind and smacked his helmet off him.
The soldier looked up quickly and watched as the bird landed on a flag on the wall. He rubbed the back of his head where the bird had scratched him. "What the..."
He narrowed his eyes as the bird let out a loud, echoing screech. Suddenly, a grappling hook flew over the edge and onto the walls, startling him. He spun around and cautiously walked over to the edge of the wall and looked over. The grappling hook was joined by much more, and the solider's eyes widened.
"We're under attack!" he yelled as he stumbled away from the hooks and ran to the tower ladder on the wall. "Light the signals!"
Three men had already climbed up the wall and were making their way towards him. The door to the tower opened and two more of the enemies came out. The soldier gasped and quickly ran up the ladder as one man swung his sword at him. The man continued to try and hit him, but only succeed in cutting the ladder in half. The soldier then grabbed a torch and was about to light the first fire pit, when a dark figure jumped over the edge of the tower and slowly stood up.
The soldier gasped. The bird that had hit him earlier landed on the shadow's shoulder. The soldier looked at the torch in his hand, then threw it down into the fire pit.
The flames spread quickly, and soon, the guards around him saw it. The figure looked around as yelling ensued and more fire pits were lit. Soon, all the towers had big flames glowing from them.
The soldier glared angrily, "Now all of Greece know's you're here." The figure looked back at him again and ripped a Greek flag out of the tower. He then placed it in the fire and watched it burn. He grinned sinisterly.
"Perfect."
annnnd...DONE! :D FINALLY! so yeah, that's that. I really hoped you enjoyed it, even if it is kinda short. (and again, I am REALLY sorry for messing up the story before. I was/am new to this, and I had no idea what I was doing. ._.')
so, anyways, that you SO much for reading :) I really hope I can start writing a lot soon...
